This week, we have two option ideas on two stocks that experienced large volume spikes on Friday and both have upcoming earnings reports.

Mueller Water Products (MWA) traded over 30 million shares, more than 10x its normal volume. It is scheduled to report earnings on May 5.
TechnipFMC (FTI) traded over 11 million shares, more than 2–3x its normal volume, with earnings reporting on April 24.

Both ideas are long strangles, designed to take advantage of volatility in either direction while limiting risk to the total cost of the options.
