On Wednesdays we apply our Stock Watchlist Weekly proprietary algorithm to a specific theme or category that traders and investors might want to consider. As with the primary Sunday newsletter, these lists include stocks that have been screened through an array of fundamental and technical data points to find the top ones with market-beating short- and long-term potential.
As always, the algorithm is limited to assessing substantial public companies: NYSE or NASDAQ listed; highly liquid; optionable; share price under $500.
💡 This Week’s Analysis: This week we altered the parameters of the Stock Watchlist Weekly proprietary algorithm to generate a list of potential solid dividend portfolio investments you might want to look at. Specifically, this search was limited to these requirements:
1) Next Ex-Div Date in April (any shares you own before the ex-div date will entitle you to the next dividend payout round, typically a few days later).
2) Dividend Achiever (stocks with a minimum of 10 consecutive years of dividend payment increase).
3) Quarterly dividend payments at a current dividend yield of 2% or higher.
4) No more than 2 stocks in the same Sector on the final list.
Beyond that, the proprietary algorithm processed and ranked them as follows.
💡 This Week’s List:

Sector/Industry: Trading Companies & Distributors / McGrath RentCorp
